Accommodations
The ranch is single level, with all rooms entered from a covered, wooden boardwalk.
"Roughing it" may sound romantic, but it doesn't always feel so good, which is why all our rooms are air-conditioned, with private full bathrooms.
We have 19 standard rooms, each with a queen bed and a single, and 3 larger rooms with king-size beds for a small extra fee.
Kids can stay in the "Bunkhouse" kids' wing (small private rooms with boys' and girls' bathrooms in the hall), or in the room with parents (space for a rollaway cot if needed), or in their own room next to the parents (some adjoining rooms available; there may be an extra charge for children in their own standard room, depending on availability and number of children).
The adult lounge is the center of the ranch, and since 1978 has been the venue for some legendary parties. The room hasn't changed much over the years, partly because our long-term guests threaten us with physical violence if we change things too much, and partly because of its rugged, old-west look. With a huge stone fireplace and comfy chairs, the adult lounge opens onto a large outdoor deck where you can cut the dust at the end of the day and swap stories with your fellow riders before getting ready for dinner, and after dinner.... well, there are many places on the ranch to go for peace, quiet and the tranquility of country living, but the BYOB bar in the adult lounge on a Friday or Saturday night is not one of them!
